Shells, sea glass and stones collected along the US East Coast, arranged into small scenes in my Boston studio and finished with fine pen and watercolor. Each piece is one of a kind.

Hi! I’m Sophia.

One of the things I love most about Boston is how close the ocean is. I take every chance to get to the beach and rarely come home empty-handed. Shells, sea glass, stones — they used to end up in a jar, now they end up in my studio.

At Shorebird Studio those beach finds get a second life, and a small piece of the New England coast makes its way into a new home. If one of them speaks to you, I’d love to hear from you!
